Free classes at Two Peas in a Bucket :)
Two Peas in a Bucket is one of the pages I visit a lot, especially its scrapbooking gallery.
What I really love are its Free Classes :) You can see here current classes as well as past ones.
My favourite one right now is Adventures of Glitter Girl, by Shimelle Laine. I can't wait for Wednesday to come with a new video :)
Last Sunday night, I found a past class from 2009. It's a good one called Super Sketches, by Kelly Purkey. It's full of great sketches and layouts.
I hope you enjoy those classes as much as I do :)

A free scrapbooking online class :)
I've taken tons of classes at Big Picture Classes, and I just love it!!
From time to time they offer free classes, and now they're offering the Big Idea Festival from August 15th-27th.
They classes run from around $10 up, so you can spend as little or as much as you can/want :)
If you're not registred already in the website, could you "say" I sent you? :)
My Refer-a-Friend code is B777D203.
You could use this link to register in the web and then sign up for the class, and enjoy!!!
Once you purchase your first class, we'll both receive a code for 10% off** our next order!

May is almost here :)
And I'm going to be so busy :)
- May with May, by May Flaum at Big Picture Classes.
She's so inspiring, and her classes are just GREAT!
- LOAD challenge, by Lain Ehmann at Layotaday.com.
I wasn't sure about this, but I'm finally in! It's going to be so challenging for me, and I hope I can participate and enjoy :)
Today, I've been on "cleaning mode", and I've even cleaned my scraproom :)
And I'm going back to work so soon, oh yeah!!
I'm so ready for May!!!

One Little Word: ACCEPT
As I wrote in my post about my plans for 2011, I finally joined Ali Edwards' online annual class "One Little Word", for Big Picture Classes.
Last year, I chose my word, but didn't do anything about it. This year, I'm kind of keeping the samr word, but it'll be great for my therapy to work on it: ACCEPT.

(the kraft paper was just for scanning the white page)I may add a butterfly, a flower, or something like that...

i.Scrap
i.Scrap is the name of the last online class I've taken at Big Picture Classes.
I'm still working on my album, but I'm done with the 8"8" photo pages and want to shared them.
I won't be sharing the journaling pages since it's a very introspective class and my words will be so personal. It's going to be a great therapy :)
Thanks for looking!!

Christmas is coming... Are you ready?
Oh yes, there are tons of Christmas projects already fluttering around the Internet :)
My favourites? Journal Your Christmas, by Shimelle Laine, and December Daily, by Ali Edwards.
As some of you know, I'm not feeling too cheerful lately, and scrapbooking is one of the few things that make me smile and surfing around to find out what's going on :) I love taking a look to your pages & projects, and save some of the images as inspiration. All of us know that this hobby is so therapeutic, and that's what I need right now.
Well, that's enough of me for today. Here you have the links to read about the two Christmas projects I'm talking about:

I've been part of Shimelle's class since 2007; that's the great stuff, once you're in, it's free forever, and each year the materials and the private forum are even better. We start on Dec 1st and finish on Jan 6th: 37 prompts and tons of extras. Some of us make a couple of more days documenting the cleaning up of the decorations, some reflections, etc.Ali's project is different. She shows us her Christmas diary, Dec 1st-25th, since the beginning: selecting the album, preparation, pages, etc and you are free to join in. It's not a class ,but it's worth it to take a look and follow it because of the inspiration you get from Ali 's album as well as all the participants' :)
The best thing to do? Something in between :) Although I work better following Shimelle's class.

HERE you can read my posts Christmas related, and
HERE you can visit my other blog where I post my pages for my Christmas albums [all of them unfinished :)].
This year I've tried to make it easier for myself to see if I get to finish my album in a decent time...
I bought a 6x12 album at the beginning of the year so I don't have to decide what to do by Nov 30th. New size for me.
As for the numbers for each day, I've bought them too for Dec 1st-31st :) A package of 2" circles printed in red with a white half. For Jan 1st-6th, I'll use cards from a mini Spanish playing cards deck; I may use the swords because they're blue and it'll probably be so cold [In Spain, we say "it's so cold that cuts"] :)

Summertime... and another class with Shimelle Laine :)
I hope you're already enjoying your Summer :) Here, the weather has been soooooo strange: cooler, rainny, some sun, rainny again,... a mess!! But better than Winter freeze :)
What are you going to do during these months?? I won't have vacation time till next September; I've chosen that option because I prefer to travel in Sep and work during Summer months. Since I work on shifts, I'll be able to have days off here and there to still enjoy some beach days, etc.
So, any scrappy plans? I hope I finish some of the projects I have laying around... I'd like to be up to date with my Document 2010 pages, start my 2009 vacation album and do something in my Xmas albums. I'll tell you about it...
I also have to study for some nursing exams I'll be having next Oct/Nov to get a spot in the hospital I'm working in... difficult stuff...
Well, I'll be waiting for your answers :)
And just a note to let you know that Shimelle Laine plans another great class for this Summer :)
You can read all the details by clicking here:
As you may imagine, I've already signed up :)
Have fun!!

Christmas is coming... my first Xmas card :o)
Yes, yesterday I received my very first Xmas card from a USA scrapper friend :o) So I've decided that this is the best moment to update my blog, it's been so long!
Last Dec 1st, Shimelle's class started, as I wrote about it in previous posts. I haven't done so much stuff for my journal but I've been taking notes, gathering stuff, taking some pics, etc Love it!! I'll post the pages as soon as I make them...
Through its forum I knew that a fellow scrapper, Susanne, was "cleaning" her christmashy stuff and was giving away two Xmas scrapbooking kits in her blog... I won one!!!! I'm still waiting for the package, but between bank holidays in Spain on Dec 6th and 8th, and Spanish post office system... I'm so excited!!
I'm also waiting for Karine Cazenave's last mini albums book (she's a French artist). I've bought it to Mireia (Spanish artist and friend) who I've helped to clear out her house of scrapbooking stuff through her "little market", again! :oD
I've done some more shopping too. I've ordered a few clear acrylic stamps from A Cherry On Top (just a few to minimize the shipping costs) and a few more items from a Spanish online store, Creatividades, I'll finally have a heat embossing gun!! I'll post some pics as soon as I have my stuff...
Last Thur, Dec 4th, my boyfriend and I received our new living room furniture, finally!! We still have the chairs left since they forgot to make them, ? Pics to come...
Last weekend, Dec 5-7, we visited my boyfriend's family in Almeria, in the South of Spain. It was a short visit since I was on double shift on Mon 8th but, since my work schedule for the rest of the season is so busy, I won't be able to go down there till the end of Jan at least. That's the main reason why our Xmas tree is not out yet...
Yesterday I went Xmas shopping with my mom... to "El Corte Inglés"!!! (a very fashion and pricey department store) I still can't believe she asked me to go LOL We never go there but it's not really that pricey and the customer service is excellent.
Well, I think that's it for today. Gotta go to fix lunch.
I hope everyone is doing great and enjoying the Season.
