A few words for scrappers...
A fellow scrapper has shared THIS article in a board, and, as a scrapper myself, I wanted to shared the lasts lines with you:
But time won’t stop. It won’t even slow down. That’s why we’ll pay attention and take pictures. So we’ll never forget the day. So that even when it’s passed, it will remain.- Beverly Beckham

A goal achieved :)
At the beginning of the month, I posted about a few simple goals I wanted to achieve before 2011 HERE. Coming to the end of the month and, with it, to the end of my vacation time, I think it's time for a little update...
As for my first goal:
1. Disconnect and enjoy my vacation month, and start my new stage at work with my batteries charged.Holy cow!! I've enjoyed them to the fullest!!!! :)
1st a few days in Adra, Almería, Jose's hometown which had the annual fair going on. "Tapas", friends, ... So great.
2nd A relaxing week in Tenerife to do nothing and see what we left out last year :)
and then, less than 24hrs after I landed from Tenerife, to the airport again heading to London to visit my brother with my mom and my aunt, to die from laughing!!! and from too much walking... AWESOME!!!
I'll post some pics as soon as I can...
Now, I'm ready to go back to work next Friday :)
As for goals # 2.Healthy eating, 3.Studying and 4.Scrapping... too little of good eating (although I've keep on my weight with the walking) and ZERO of 3 & 4.
A new month ahead, a new stage in my life. GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A big hug,

Wednesday's question: 4 simple goals (before 2011...)
Following Ami and Andrea, Spanish fellow scrappers of mine, after Elsie's post, I'm going to write my 4 simple goals before the end of the year; let's see if I come back from my vacation month full with energy :)
1. Disconnect and enjoy my vacation month, and start my new stage at work with my batteries charged. This year has been filled with lots of personal ups and downs, and I really need a restorative holiday. Besides, next October, I'll start working in a new area in the hospital and, as in any new project that grows up from zero, I need to be 100%.
2. Continue with the healthier eating I've started during this year, and start making exercise.
It's been kind of easy for me, I've lost 15 kilo!! but now I need to make exercise regularly to tone my body, specially now that I'm heading my 35s... hehehe
3. Study a litte bit, even if it's just to not cry the day of the exam. It's been kind of easy for me, I've lost 15 kilo!! but now I need to make exercise regularly to tone my body, specially now that I'm heading my 35s... hehehe
I need to pass a few exams to get a permanent spot in the public health system, but I'm not feeling like studying right now. I could say my books are still unopenned.
So, bearing in mind that the exam in the hospital I'm currently working in could be at the end of next October, I hope, at least, to practice making some tests.
4. Scrap.
Yes, I need to get my hands on my huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge and great stash in that special corner I've created for myself, which is missing me so much.
It's taken me so long to reorganize it, so I guess I should get in that place for hours, even if it's just for the hundreds of buttons, meters of ribbons of different colors, 4 small drawers full of paper punches and two drawers full of stamps...

Happy 2010
Well, another year has just passed by... and another decade...
Looking back, I can see my life like a rollercoaster, with the exciting moments and the not so exciting, but I'd rather look ahead :)
I began 2010 working and I continued it relaxed and calm. That must be a good augury.
Now, I just have in my mind enjoy my life as much as I can, and get rid of this sadness that has been with me for some time... I hope it goes away soon...
Happy 2010

P.S. This could be a second post but wanted to write it here...
Many of you know about Ali Edwards' One Little Word. She picks up a single word to focus on the upcoming year since 2007.
I've been thinking about it for these years but not sure if I could pick up just one for myself... until this year...
Bearing in mind what I've just written in the main part of this post, ACCEPTING is my word for 2010. Accepting changes, accepting challenges, accepting my life as it is, accepting myself as I am,...
I've found myself struggling with this things lately. It's time to work on that...
